Skin tone isn't a short list of looks. It's set by an undertone family and a lightness level from 0 to 6, and a child blends toward a tone that sits between their two parents.
How skin tone is inherited
Rather than picking one of a few looks, each Para has an undertone family and a lightness level from 0 (lightest) to 6 (darkest). When two Parafolk have a child, the game blends their undertones and lightness, so children land on a tone between their parents rather than copying one exactly.
