Eye Color
Inherited trait
Eye Color
Eye color comes in three inherited looks - brown, green, and blue - plus an unnatural set that's character-creator only. Brown is dominant and blue is recessive, which makes blue the rarest to inherit.
Dominant to recessive
Brown
Dominant
4 shades to choose from in Paramaker
Shows up if even one parent passes it on.
Green
Middle
2 shades to choose from in Paramaker
Shows when no more-dominant version is inherited.
Blue
Recessive
3 shades to choose from in Paramaker
Both parents must pass it on for a child to show it.
What will my child inherit?
Brown is dominant: a child shows it whenever at least one parent passes on the gene.
Blue is recessive: a child only shows it when both parents pass it on.
Two Brown parents can still have a Blue child - if both quietly carry the Blue gene, it can surface.
Two Blue parents always have Blue children.
