Graveyard Keeper 2 items: 453 pages with stats, effects, recipes, prices, where to get them, what they are used for and their Study Table tech points.

How it works

Study Table payouts

323 of the 453 items can each be studied once at the Study Table for red, green and blue tech points, the currency of the technology tree. The biggest single payouts are Necronomicon (300), Master Sword (190), Master Armor (190). Each item page lists its exact value and the Science it costs.

Items questions

How do prices work?

Prices are shown in bronze, silver and gold: 100 bronze make 1 silver and 100 silver make 1 gold. A trader asks the item's base price (plus a markup on a few items at some traders) while it holds its usual stock; the price is multiplied by the square root of usual stock divided by current stock, so it rises as the stock runs low and falls when the trader holds more. When selling, a trader pays three quarters of its price, counts the items in the same sale as stock, and never pays more than the base price. Items with a fixed price (town supplies, tools, fish, weapons & armor, bags and a few others) always sell to a trader for exactly that price. Buying one costs exactly that price too.

What do bronze, silver and gold grades mean?

Crops and their seeds (Cabbage, Onion, Pumpkin, Grapes), Wine, Grape Juice, the organs (Skin, Bones, Skull, Heart, Brain, Guts), Newspaper, Story, most prayers, the embalming solutions and injections, Vegetable salad and Bowl of sauerkraut come in three grades. Each grade has its own values, and where the item has a price, its own price. The pages of the crops, their seeds, Wine and the organs list every grade. Where grades have a price, a better grade costs more, and a better grade of food or drink restores more.

How do weapons and armor work?

A hit deals the weapon's damage minus the defense of the armor its target wears, never less than 0. Enemy zombies wear no armor, so a weapon's damage per hit is what one hit takes off an enemy zombie. The Keeper fights with the sword and the bow in the tool belt, each attack costs the weapon's stamina, and a battle cannot start without a sword and body armor there. Zombie fighters fight with a pike or a bow and only with armor; a squad zombie that has both adds the defense power of the two items. The Merc Leader's equipment upgrades give the mercenaries Battle Pikes, Battle Bows and Iron Armor, then Knight's Spears, Heavy Bows and Steel Armor.

What does a tool's mastery bonus do?

A tool in the tool belt adds its bonus to the mastery it lists, and the bonuses of several tools add up. A hit on a tree, rock or other gathering spot needs at least that spot's mastery level and does the Keeper's mastery divided by that level, rounded down, in progress, at most 3 per hit. Mushrooms, night flowers, wells and the Blue Crystal pile take 1 per hit at any mastery. No tool or weapon has durability: nothing wears out.

Why does a value say 'with' a perk?

The first number is the value with no perk or buff active. 'with' gives the value while that perk or buff is active, for example Bread restores 18 energy, or 20 with Steamed Up. When Steamed Up ends, the bonus turns into a penalty of the same size until the next sauna: Bread then restores 16. 'zombie perk' and 'from a zombie fighter with' mark a perk of the zombie that uses the item.

What does a recipe card show?

The station, the ingredients and the result, then the recipe's ticks, the energy each tick costs, the mastery it needs and the tech points it pays.
