It excels at dealing high melee damage due to its +6% melee multiplier, making it a strong close-range combatant. More about taming the Aberrant Carnotaurus
Tame the Aberrant Carnotaurus via knockout using Tranq Arrows from a Bow or Crossbow, or use a Longneck Rifle with Tranquilizer Darts. Immobilize it first with a Chain Bola, Bear Trap, or Large Bear Trap. Use Regular Kibble for fastest taming. Raw Mutton also works well.
Taming takes about 42 minutes and requires 11 units of Regular Kibble at level 150. No Narcotics are needed. Use the calculator below for your settings.

Combat notes
The Aberrant Carnotaurus takes +200% damage from spike walls, making them highly effective in defense. It is also weak to explosions and melee attacks with metal weapons. Avoid using mining drills, as they deal no damage. Level Health and Melee Damage for combat effectiveness.
