Stage featuresWhat the map adds to the fight

  • Linirean Encampment

Rudimentary defenses and limited vision. As Linirean Encampment II: Better equipped and with more vision. As Linirean Encampment III: Fully armed with vision of the whole battlefield.

  • Spider Egg Nest

Spawns spiders. Flaming Arrow Volley: Destroy spider eggs with flaming arrows. Costs 50 gold.

  • Encampment levels

In Campaign and Classic Rush the Linirean Encampment starts at level I and rises for free to level II at wave 5 and level III at wave 10. In Iron Challenge, Spell Rush, Hero Party and Blitz Challenge it starts at level III.

  • Encampment soldiers

The encampment holds 1 soldier at level I and 2 at levels II and III. Each has 100 health and no armor, deals 4-6 physical damage every second and heals 100 health per second after 2 seconds without being hit. A fallen soldier returns after 30 seconds, 26 at level III.

  • Encampment archers

At level III the encampment's archers shoot enemies within a range of 300 for 10-16 physical damage every second.

  • Hidden tower spots

Six tower spots hidden in the fog open when the encampment reaches level II: at wave 5 in Campaign and Classic Rush, from the start in the other modes.

  • Spider webs

Eight spider webs lie on the paths. In a web the player's ground soldiers and heroes move 30% slower and spiders and Sarelgaz 25% faster, in pulses of 0.25 seconds every 0.4 seconds. Flying units, other enemies, Zefira and the Giant Spiders dropped on threads are not affected.

  • Webbed towers

In waves 3, 5, 6, 7, 9, 10, 12, 13 and 15, Sarelgaz lowers herself onto a random tower every 15 to 30 seconds. The tower stops at once while she spins for 3 seconds; 5 taps on her drive her off. Otherwise the tower stays webbed 6 seconds more. Campaign and Classic Rush.

  • Spider eggs

Sarelgaz lays eggs on the three spider nests in Campaign and Classic Rush. An egg hatches 5 seconds after it is laid and releases Spiderlings, Giant Spiders, a Spider Matriarch or a Son of Sarelgaz; an egg burned before it hatches releases nothing.

  • Giant Spiders from above

Giant Spiders drop onto the path on threads at four points of the cave. Per battle: 104 in Campaign and Classic Rush (24 of them during the Sarelgaz fight), 24 in Hero Party, 21 in Spell Rush, 10 in Blitz Challenge, none in Iron Challenge.

BriefingThe stage's story before the battle

Beyond the lake, in the depths of the mountain, there are caves where the air is thick and darkness is almost absolute. Familiar skittering noises come through the tunnels, surrounding the troops. Best we make camp and build some defenses, there are foes nearby!
