Shielding Smite is a defense enchantment that goes on melee and ranged items.

Levels

  • Shielding Smite I

    Defeating an enemy has a 10% chance to create a Fortifying well for allies.

  • Shielding Smite II

    Defeating an enemy has a 20% chance to create a Fortifying well for allies.

  • Shielding Smite III

    Defeating an enemy has a 40% chance to create a Fortifying well for allies.

Enchantment book

The Shielding Smite book grants level I and has unlimited uses. The Enchantsmith applies its enchantment and upgrades it to II and III as the vendor levels up. Enchanting needs Echo Shards and Enchantment Points. Enchantsmith: Brave Haven, Howling Woods, Frozen Highlands and Rainy Plains.
The Shielding Smite book drops in the loot of The Sift.
