Baby: The hatched dinosaur, now a baby, needs constant attention and food placed directly in its inventory to survive, or a nearby Maewing to take care of its needs.

During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
More about breeding the X-Raptor
After a successful mate, the X-Raptor lays a fertilized egg. Incubation temperature must stay between 20°C and 28°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 1 hour and 59 minutes.
Full maturation from baby to adult takes ~1 day and 13 hours (1x rate), progressing slowly. Hand-feeding is required until 10% maturation. After that, a Feeding Trough handles the rest.
Each baby inherits stats from both parents with a chance of mutation - +2 wild levels to a random stat plus a color change. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~222 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~15h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~19h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Don't skip imprinting - each successful imprint boosts the X-Raptor's stats, and hitting 100% grants a 30% combat bonus when the imprinter rides it. Keep various kibble types on hand, as imprint requests are randomized between cuddles, walks, and kibble feeding.
The raising calculator above shows exactly how much food you need for each maturation phase of the X-Raptor. Budget ~222 minutes for the Baby phase - this is when hand-feeding or Maewing nursing is mandatory.
Raising multiple X-Raptor simultaneously? Set the dino count and the calculator scales food requirements automatically. Different food types have different spoil timers - factor that into which food you stockpile.
The X-Raptor, a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a common sight across multiple maps. It falls within the Variant classification.
With 194 base Health, the X-Raptor is not particularly tanky. With 105% base Melee Damage, the X-Raptor has respectable melee power. Its base Stamina of 150 gives it moderate endurance. It carries 140 base Weight - modest carrying capacity.
Taming the X-Raptor requires rendering it unconscious first - use Tranq Arrows, Darts, or Shocking Tranq Darts to apply torpor. Feed it Simple Kibble for the fastest tame and highest effectiveness bonus.
Once tamed, the X-Raptor is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 20°C and 28°C. Killing a wild X-Raptor yields 3 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.23 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
