With Torpor draining at 1.8/s, don't wait until the bar is nearly empty to apply narcotics.
Use the torpor and starve timers to track your Daeodon tame in real time. Torpor monitoring prevents premature wakeups. The starve timer is for the starve-tame method - let Food drop, then load all kibble at once to avoid waste.
