How it plays

Corrosion at scale. Contagion hits every enemy in a wide zone at once and applies the Contagious status, which turns each affected target into a small bomb when they die. Against dense waves, the chain of death explosions does more work than the initial spell.

Strategy

Cast it into the middle of a pack and let the Contagious debuff multiply your damage. Clean up the weakened enemies fast to trigger as many explosions as possible before the debuff expires. Surcharge or Fireball into a Contagion-marked group is one of the more efficient burst windows in the game.
