During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
More about breeding the X-Concavenator
The X-Concavenator reproduces by laying fertilized eggs after mating. Incubation temperature must stay between 50°C and 53°C - use Air Conditioners, Standing Torches, or Dimetrodons to maintain the range. At the correct temperature, the egg hatches in approximately 4 hours and 59 minutes.
Full maturation from baby to adult takes ~1 day and 22 hours (1x rate), progressing requiring significant patience. During the baby phase (0–10%), hand-feed it directly. From 10% onward (juvenile), it can eat from a Feeding Trough.
Offspring inherit parental stats and have a small chance to mutate, gaining +2 levels in a random stat. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
Maturation has three phases: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~278 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~19h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~23h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprint bonuses are significant: a fully imprinted X-Concavenator gains 30% extra damage and damage resistance with its imprinter mounted. You'll be asked to cuddle, walk, or feed specific kibble at regular intervals during maturation.
The raising calculator above shows exactly how much food you need for each maturation phase of the X-Concavenator. Budget ~278 minutes for the Baby phase - this is when hand-feeding or Maewing nursing is mandatory.
Raising multiple X-Concavenator simultaneously? Set the dino count and the calculator scales food requirements automatically. Different food types have different spoil timers - factor that into which food you stockpile.
The X-Concavenator is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Variant group.
Melee starts at 105% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. The X-Concavenator has 412 base Health - decently sturdy. With 350 base Stamina, the X-Concavenator has good endurance. It carries 325 base Weight - good carrying capacity.
After taming, the X-Concavenator is primarily used for resource harvesting, excelling at gathering specific materials. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 50°C–53°C temperature window. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.26 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
