During the Baby phase (0-10%), you must hand-feed or use a Maewing to nurse. From Juvenile (10%+), dinos can eat from a Feeding Trough on their own. Use Preserving Salt in troughs to double spoil times.
More about breeding the Rockwell (Beta)
The baby Rockwell (Beta) takes approximately 3 days and 20 hours to fully mature at default rates - over many real-world days, demanding serious time investment. The most labor-intensive part is the baby phase (0–10% maturation) when it can't use a Feeding Trough yet.
Each baby inherits stats from both parents with a chance of mutation - +2 wild levels to a random stat plus a color change. Use the breeding calculator to plan food requirements, incubation timers, and maturation phases.
The Rockwell (Beta)'s growth progresses through three stages: Baby (0–10%) lasts ~556 min and requires constant hand-feeding. Juvenile (10–50%) spans ~37h - it can eat from a Trough now. Adolescent (50–100%) takes ~46h - continues eating from troughs, nearly fully grown.
Imprinting during maturation provides permanent stat bonuses. At 100% imprint, the Rockwell (Beta) gains 30% bonus damage and resistance when ridden by the imprinter. Keep various kibble types on hand, as imprint requests are randomized between cuddles, walks, and kibble feeding.
The raising calculator above shows exactly how much food you need for each maturation phase of the Rockwell (Beta). Expect ~556 minutes of active care during the Baby phase before it graduates to trough-feeding as a Juvenile.
The multiplier feature helps plan large-scale Rockwell (Beta) raises by totaling food across all babies. Different food types have different spoil timers - factor that into which food you stockpile.
The Rockwell (Beta) is a boss creature in ARK: Survival Ascended that must be fought in a dedicated arena. Classified under the Boss group.
Starting at 68,500 Health, it's one of the toughest creatures in the game. Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. With 400 base Stamina, the Rockwell (Beta) has solid stamina reserves. A base Weight of 3000 means an enormous weight pool.
Killing a wild Rockwell (Beta) yields 3000 base XP.
