Found throughout the ARKs, the Pegomastax is a tamable, herbivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. It falls within the Shoulder Pet classification.
Its base Stamina of 100 gives it low stamina reserves. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Pegomastax has solid damage output. With 120 base Health, the Pegomastax is glass-cannon fragile. A base Weight of 55 means minimal inventory space.
After taming, the Pegomastax is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. It reproduces by laying eggs, which must be incubated between 28°C and 32°C. A wild Pegomastax is worth 0.5 base experience when killed. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.28 Element plus 0.01 Element per level.
