The Featherlight, a tamable, flying, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended, is a notable presence across multiple maps. It falls within the Shoulder Pet classification. Its base Stamina of 100 gives it tires quickly. With 100% base Melee Damage, the Featherlight has solid damage output. Health-wise, the Featherlight sits at 115 base, making it very frail. A base Weight of 70 means not built for hauling. Taming the Featherlight doesn't require unconsciousness. Instead, sneak up to it and hand-feed its preferred food. Its preferred food is Plant Species Z Seed. After taming, the Featherlight is commonly used for scouting and quick travel between locations.
