More about the Dilophosaur

The Dilophosaur is a tamable, carnivore creature in ARK: Survival Ascended. Classified under the Misc group.
Melee starts at 100% - solid damage output that scales with level-ups. Health-wise, the Dilophosaur sits at 130 base, making it glass-cannon fragile. With 100 base Stamina, the Dilophosaur has low stamina reserves. It carries 45 base Weight - very limited carrying capacity.
The Dilophosaur is a knockout tame: apply enough torpor to knock it out, then place food in its inventory. For best results, use Basic Kibble - it gives the highest taming efficiency.
As a tame, the Dilophosaur is valued for its harvesting efficiency, collecting key resources faster than most tools. Breeding produces fertilized eggs that hatch within a 28°C–32°C temperature window. Killing a wild Dilophosaur yields 1 base XP. It can be cloned at a Cloning Chamber for 0.12 Element plus 0 Element per level.
