Use the knockout chart to see exactly how many Tranq Arrows, Darts, or other torpor weapons it takes to down the Compy. Space your shots to let torpor accumulate - rapid firing risks killing it before knockout.

To simplify the knockout, immobilize the Compy first with Bola or Bear Trap. A Argentavis can also pick it up and drop it into a taming pen for a controlled knockout.

Use the narcotic calculator to determine exactly how many Narcotics, Bio Toxin, or Narcoberries you need for the Compy. Narcotics provide 40 Torpor each and are the standard choice.
