Item Drops

Each item roll first tries a Divine roll, then picks a rarity or no item. Every cleared encounter makes 1 to 3 item rolls, by encounter type.

Item rolls

The chances below are before the loot bonus (Item Find, and on Nightmare and Inferno the stage bonus); between level 1 and level 70 they move in a straight line with the enemy level, and Legendary items drop from enemy level 10.

1 item roll per cleared encounter. No Divine roll.

The item is one of the rolled rarity that drops at the enemy's level and fits the current hero's class. Every equipment slot with such an item has the same weight, the Back slot 0.07 of it, and the items of one slot share their slot's weight equally. The Weapon slot weighs the same as any other slot, however many weapon types the hero can use.

Item Find

The loot bonus multiplies the Uncommon, Rare and Legendary weights by (1 + Item Find) x (1 + the stage's lowest enemy level on Normal x the difficulty's loot bonus + the Mythic Rift tier x 1%). Nightmare and Inferno use the same Normal stage level, although every enemy there is level 70; the Mythic Rift counts as level 70.

The Divine chance and the Set Rune weight get the same stage bonus, but only part of Item Find counts: (1 + 0.3 x Item Find) for the Divine chance and (1 + 0.2 x Item Find) for the Set Rune weight.

The difficulty's loot bonus, per stage level:

DifficultyPer stage level
Normal0%
Nightmare0.5%
Inferno1%

Example: a stage whose lowest enemy level on Normal is 60 multiplies them by 1.6 on Inferno, before Item Find.

Drop chances are the game's rules for offline characters; the game server decides the loot of online characters.
